Our story

A passionate champion of women’s health, Dr Karen Morton has spent her career caring for women of all ages, helping them deal with menstrual and sexual health issues, looking after them in pregnancy, delivering babies, supporting those with endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, pelvic pain and ovarian cysts, and guiding them through perimenopause and menopause into a healthy old age. During the course of this work, she has witnessed firsthand the difficulties and frustration women face in accessing timely, affordable specialist care. Dr Morton’s virtual women’s health service was founded in 2013 with a mission to close those healthcare gaps by providing a new type of care that puts women at the centre. Her ‘care with kindness’ approach has resulted in a loyal following, including different generations of women from the same families. Like her team, many of these patients have been with her since the company’s inception.

Karen – together with a team chosen not only for their medical expertise but also their compassion and kindness – continue to run accessible women’s health services, ranging from online consultations with Obstetrics and Gynaecology, sexual health and menopause specialists, through to real-time prescribing and arranging of scans and tests. The company’s mission – to ensure that all women get the expert care they require, when and where they need it – is unchanged, but now the service is available to employees and via private/public health organisations as well as directly to individuals.

Now that’s what you call a virtuous circle!
